In 2015, BitSight published a report, Beware the Botnets: Botnets Correlated to a Higher Likelihood of a Significant Breach. In that report, BitSight researchers discovered that companies with botnet grades of 'B' or lower were more than twice as likely to experience a significant data breach.

In 2017, over two years later, researchers examined more than 70,000 organizations and not only validated previous findings, but also discovered additional correlations to data breach with more risk vectors including file sharing and open ports.

Organizations have begun to take action based on these findings by assessing their own security posture and collaborating with trusted third parties that may be putting them at risk.

Join BitSight's David SooHoo and Jay Jacobs for this webinar as they discuss:

• BitSight's new research on botnets and additional risk vectors, and their correlation to breach.
• Best practices and recommendations for evaluating risk on corporate networks.
• The risk vectors evaluated in BitSight Security Ratings, and the reasoning behind their inclusion.
• Proactive ways to create a dynamic approach to risk mitigation.
